Club President

Dr. Priya Oberoi is the upcoming President, Rotary Club of Delhi Safdarjung for 2024-25. She was born and brought up in the city known to be directly on River Ganga, more famously known as KANPUR. She completed her graduation in Dental Surgery from CODS Mangalore, Manipal. She is a cosmetic/aesthetic dentist, specialising in Root Canal Therapy, abreast with the latest technologies in the dental world including digital dentistry. She currently operates her own dental practice in South Delhi at Smiles Dental Care, Kalkaji for over 2 decades alongside her happily married husband, Dr. Sunil Oberoi, Prosthodontist and Implantologist. They were blessed with their first daughter, Tarshi in 2003, who is currently pursuing medicine from JNMC, Wardha, and with twins, Charvi and Sarvagya, in 2011. They are currently studying in Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj, in 8th grade. Dr. Priya is currently Community Health Director (CHD) in Indian Dental Association (IDA) for the past 2 years. She joined Rotary in 2020, inducted by Rotarian Mrs. Mona Puri. Demonstrating exemplary dedication, she served as Director of Club Service for the 2021-22 term, followed by her role as Director of Community Service for the 2022-23 term. For the 2023-24 term, she ascended to the position of Club Secretary, showcasing her continued commitment to the organization. She has been awarded with various accolades. To mention a few, Prof. T.N. Chawla Memorial Award For Best Paper Presentation in Annual Conference of Indian Dental Association in 2001. She has completed her Fellowship from Pierre Fauchard Academy - An International Honorary Dental Organization, USA in 2014 along with fellow, Academy of General Education in 2001. She has even performed humanitarian and community service as a dental surgeon at Gurudwara, B Block, Kalkaji for more than 10 years. As the incoming President of our Rotary Club, I am honored to lead a community which shares a passion for service. My vision for our club is rooted in the core values of Rotary: service above self, integrity, diversity, leadership, and fellowship.
